Dr Neasa McDonagh/Dr Deirdre Hegarty
Dr Neasa McDonagh, MICGP, MICP
Dr. McDonagh is a UCD graduate of 1992 and a graduate of the North Eastern Regional GP Training Scheme of 1997. She has been working as a GP since then and has been practising in Ballymun since 2003. Neasa worked in undergraduate teaching in RCSI from 2001 to 2003. She then became Assistant Programme Director for the RCSI GP scheme from 2003 to 2006. She is a trainer for the RCSI GP scheme and also takes students from the undergraduate and graduate entry programs in the RCSI. In September, 2011, Neasa took up the post of Assistant Programme Director on the North Dublin City GP Training Scheme.
Dr Deirdre Hegarty, MRCGP, DME, DCH
Dr. Hegarty graduated from UCD in 1992. She is vocationally trained and has worked as a GP in Ireland and the UK since graduating. She joined the Practice in June, 2006 and has been a Partner since 2009. She is also a trainer for the North Dublin City GP Training Programme since 2012.
GP Training Practice
We are a GP Training practice. We also regularly have medical students from the Royal College of Surgeons here on an observatory basis.
